...Amy Cameron... …I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain…
The day was hot, incredibly hot. The hat shaded her eyes as she walked into the barn, horses neighed her welcomingly but one horse caught her eye for a minute. The large black and white head watched her lovingly and the sixteen year old couldn’t help but grinning so ever friendly towards the large gelding. ”Joker, why’re you here big boy? Missed me so much?”
She kissed his silky lips softly and patted the large gelding until walking past Lone Ranger and a couple of school horses. Clicking her tongue as she came towards a large and rather lonely stall an elegant and massive cranium occurred. Eragon looked at her while munching some hay, he murmured lovingly when seeing the bridle and halter that she was holding. ”Let’s be a little naughty, shall we?” She was wearing a see through pink tunic with a skirt and was barefoot this evening. Looking around closely she noticed that no one were around. Seeing that everything was clear Amy slipped inside and put on the halter and then bridle. She opened the stallions stall and mounted him. Whispering something lightly into his flicking ears the large seven year old trotted out of the stall with the student up close on the side of him. When the chestnut horse felt the ground he turned into a full off canter and Amy got onto his back, she kept her body calm and relaxed while the pair rode off towards the lake. She didn’t know if they were allowing horses in as well but right now didn’t care. She couldn’t drive nor walk so why not ride? Tobajo’s Era Gone threw out with a pace that many didn’t know. With nostrils flaring the large horse jumped over a log with professional ease, Amy smiled loving the feeling of him jumping until they cantered off towards the lake. It didn’t take long for her to notice it, she tightened the reins and the large horse tripped down to a trot until he went down to a walk. Ears flicked curiously as he was not the typical trailer horse, she rarely rode him for that purpose. But he loved to swim so why not? Looking around she collected the horse, his head bowed gracefully and they went into a light circle until she clicked her tongue making him halt. No one was taking a bath today, good. She smiled to herself and went to a tree. Dismounting with a step she took off the skirt and tunic and showed a dark brown bikini with pink straps on it. Taking off the hat as well Amy redid the reins she had used and the lead rope and took it around the tree. She wasn’t taking him with her, yet. Taking away the bit as well she tightened everything to his halter and kissed his nose. ”You be a good boy now while I’m gone, ok?” The horse snorted but started grazing calmly. The tree was right beside the lake so Amy went inside without looking if other people were there. So what if she had taken with her, a horse? People should mind their own business sometimes. The cold water felt good as it rushed around her body slowly cooling her down. Coming up she glanced at Eragon who had taken the time to lie down and looking at her rather goofily, he was completely relaxed and was dozing off. Good, maybe he’ll stay a good boy while I swim a little more. But peace would never stay put, now would it? Of course now, she would always have to be interrupted, but by what? Someone that was coming closer faster then she knew, do you know who it is? Me neither. Tagged ;; None Outfit ;; Bikini!Words ;; 623 Ooc ;; Open! I like the title XD [/blockquote]

Luke Peters ! i'm a cowboy, on a steel horse i ride Luke fancied a swim. He had for a while now, and now that the opportunity arose, he decided to take full advantage of it. For one reason or another, he hadn’t been to the barn all day, which only made the late afternoon dip sound even more appealing. After all, when would Luke miss out on a chance to see his darling horse? Never, of course! Plus, he’d probably catch the sunset, which would be quite lovely. Luke was a sucker for stuff like that sometimes, although he’d rarely make it known. Just another one of his little secrets he kept hidden beneath his manly exterior.
Pulling on his swim-trunks, Luke contemplated if he was allowed to even bring V down to the lake. He didn’t see why not, but with these schools and all their fancy rules, he really wasn’t sure. Oh well, he’d just have to deal with the consequences. Over his naked chest, (since it would have seemed a little… stripper-cowboy? To ride without a shirt on) he pulled a plain grey tank. It defined his muscles pretty well, which he modestly admitted to himself. Hey, why not show off a little in front of the bathing girls? He laughed inwardly at the thought. A good flex never hurt anyone, right? Exhaling shortly, he finished being vain and left his dorm room to head off to the stables.
He didn’t waste time tacking up V, for he didn’t plan on doing any serious riding today. For now, she was just his method of transportation. Slipping her a sugar lump, he grabbed a bridle, equipped her with it, led her out, and mounted. Luke’s weapon of choice was bareback; it was just what he felt most comfortable in. Bareback, you had no choice but to let go and relax. With a comfortable sigh, Luke allowed his shoulders to roll back as he led V towards the lake. She had no qualm with this unexpected ride – she loved surprises.
So, as it turns out, did Luke, especially pleasant ones, which was why he was so pleased to see another horse by the lake front as he pulled up. He didn’t recognize the animal enough to distinguish its owner, but at least he knew he wasn’t alone in his idea for a swim. Well, technically it had been the other person’s first, since they had gotten here before him, but still. Easily dismounting, Luke removed V’s bridle and hung it on a low branch, watching the water for signs of another human. He knew that V was a good girl, and would not run away from him, so he allowed her freedom. She just nudged his shoulder and snorted in thanks. Right now though, Luke wasn’t exactly interested in V’s cute little antics. He just wanted to find out who he would be swimming wit—wait, was that Amy? An amused smile brimmed on his lips. It sure looked like her. Well, okay, he’d just met her the other day, but still. He had a talent for keeping faces in his mind, especially the ones he liked. But did she remember him? That was a different story.
Smugly, Luke crossed his arms and made his way to the shoreline. Still smiling, he spoke. “Hey cowgirl, remember me?” He hoped she could hear him in the water, since drawls weren’t always the most buoyant of voices. If she couldn’t though, it didn’t matter much since he was heading her way anyways. He figured that he might as well be a tad more forward since they were lacking the presence of another. Luke was always a gentleman, but now alone, he felt obligated to flirt a little more. After all, it was in his blood.

...Amy Cameron... …I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain…
The water that soon cooled her warm skin felt refreshing and she felt so alone, almost as if the world only belonged to her and her horse. But that silence was soon interrupted. The sound of hoof beats made her go down a dive, why? She was still shy and she didn’t know if it was a girl or boy coming, right? Eragon however perked his ears. The Hanoverian stallion neighed flirtatious to the other mare, which ironically was the same breed. The stallion bowed his head and sniffed the scent confirming that it was a mare; he pawed the ground restlessly and moved around like one of those stallions always did when they showed off. However, V didn’t seem to pay any attention to the cobber shimmered equine. He halted again; ears clipped forth and then flicked seeing the male. He noticed that he was ignored and snorted, shaking his head once and then started to graze again, he calmed down easily when someone ignored him; he was a good boy, sometimes at least. Amy was another cause; she came up to get some breath and took a couple of strokes until she noticed a shadow nearing. Oh my god! It couldn’t be!?
Her eyes widened and she swam near the shoreline, she didn’t go up though seeing as he was coming her way. But she heard his words, oh yes, those was the words she caught quite easily. Why? Well Amy had taken a liking to him, he hadn’t talked that much, it was more like Dani had taken that job, but it was something with him that really made her curious. He seemed so mysterious. But whoever was she talking about? Well of course, the handsome Luke Peters. He was probably whatever a girl wishes for, if Amy would ever get that was another story. She blushed lightly but hid it when he came nearer so it was easier for her to speak as well. Her lips smiled gently as she spoke with the surprise still hanging on her tongue. ”Well of course! You’re that uhm…Bartender right?”
Ok, so she had to tease as well, she was a flirt as well. She wasn’t that good with other girls, but boys? Oh she had this tendency to flirt without knowing it. Almost scary, wasn’t it? But don’t worry; she ain’t a player, that’s a good thing. Right? ”I never thought I’d see you here Luke. You don’ seem to be the swimming type.” She smiled teasingly as she trotted the water calmly. Back home you could either find Amy in a swimming hall, lake or barn. She had always loved swimming; it was a great way to exercise without getting too exhausted. As well as it was a great thing to do when the summer got too hot, she hadn’t gotten to cool down in forever, or so it felt from her side of the story. Amy backed up a little so she could look at him better, and as she had thought. He had muscles, but not the overly trained ones. He almost made her take an extra breathe. Maybe she had gotten too much water over her head this time? She wasn’t the type to fall in love, was she? Tagged ;; Luke [/blockquote]

Luke wasn’t really paying much attention to V now that he had Amy to look at, but he did notice her reaction to the other horse. Alright well, make that a lack of reaction, since she wasn’t too interested when they first pulled up, but now it looked like she might be coming around. It worried Luke a little that she was free of any restraint around a stallion, but he figured she was a smart horse, and if anything happened he knew she’d know what to do. And it wasn’t like Amy’s horse was this wildcard, for the most part, he seemed pretty well-behaved. Good, that was always reassuring. Gingerly, Luke took another step towards the lake, hooking his hands into his pockets. He took a deep breath. The hot air was a little unpleasant in his nostrils, but he’d be in the water soon enough, so it didn’t really matter. He kind of lost track of where all the oxygen was going and what it felt like when Amy spoke anyway. She was a great distraction.
Bartender? Luke couldn’t help but laugh out loud. She had a cute little sense of humor, he liked that. “Yeah well, y’know, I get around.” He winked and grinned so wide he felt like his mouth was on fire. His gaze shifted from Amy to the surrounding area. It was pretty nice this time of day, he was glad he’d decided to come here. Peeking back over his shoulder, he observed V, who still seemed pretty disinterested in Amy’s stallion. Still, he could just barely notice how she was edging closer to Eragon, almost in companionable grazing. He shook his head and smiled. Silly V, she didn’t know what she wanted.
Amy’s voice snapped him back to attention. So he didn’t seem like the swimming type, huh? He smiled inwardly as he peeled off his shirt and placed it by V’s bridle. Luke had to admit, he felt a little naked in only his swim trunks, but he hid his insecurity well. Walking towards the lake, he got to the edge and dove in, allowing the water to pass over his warm skin like silk. It was a little cold, but he paid no mind to the temperature. He’d swam in colder. Surfacing, Luke shook out his mane of wet hair, spraying water droplets every which way. “Then tell me, Miss Amy, what do you think is my type?” He trod water, winking again out of pure habit. If Luke didn’t wink after almost every suggestive thing he said to a girl, then you must not be talking to Luke. He was composed of 99% of pure flirt, although, there was nice guy in there too.

...Amy Cameron... …I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain…
The stallion flicked his ears but noticed how she edged closer. Perking his ears as much forth as they could he almost pranced, Amy shot her horse a glare. Sure he was pure bred, but she didn’t want him to cover a mare when he felt like it. ”Eragon! You playboy! Get your mind of her, I don’ want you to take her on a trip. Ya hear?”
Ears flicked hearing the female voice; the chestnut stallion seemed to just look at her, with an expression that said. You think I’ll listen? Then shook his head and tried to call V closer again. Amy rolled her eyes but couldn’t get up because a certain honk suddenly jumped in splashing water all over her. She laughed and looked at him, hearing every word he said she had to shake her head. ”One minute, I have to tighten Eragon’s rope so he won’t trot off as he pleases. I don’t know about you, but I think his too young to be a dad.” She grinned and went up, her slender body dripping lightly of the water. The horse turned his head hearing her footsteps; she patted his neck but made a double knot, a great thing that came in handy. The rope was too tight for him to go as he wanted, and he couldn’t nibble it up, like some horses tried to. ”You be good now, ok?” She kissed his forehead and patted his neck before walking off back to the water. Having the thought of just slipping in easily Amy redid her thinking, time for pay back for splashing on her. She leaped in easily, her body being used to swimming quite gently and shook water from her long hair when she went up for air. Eyes looked at the male and she had a feeling that he had been looking at her all the time, did she feel embarrassed? Well of course she did! She’s a girl, they are allowed to feel a little self conscious when mysterious flirts are around, and don’t you think? But then again, that thought is shrugged off with ease and as she trod water as well she heard his voice. Now that question took her off guard. What did she think? She noticed his wink but took a few strokes back and dove underneath trying to make a “swim-for-it” coming up for oxygen the female got a thought, a sheepish smile came back on her lips. ”Ok, then let’s say this. I’ll tell you what your type is if you can catch me. Ready, set, go!” The female swam with soft stroke and soon enough vanished underneath the water. She was a fast swimmer, but she had loads of tricks, it was just that if she could find a hiding place, then maybe, just maybe, she could win. Or what do you say cowboy? V was very much a tease. Luke was just glad she hadn’t learned this from him. Poor Eragon! He could call all he wanted, but V would stay her distance always, flirting from afar. She had always been like that, even with Luke, who wasn’t even her breed. She seemed to enjoy tormenting males – Luke knew he should have bought a gelding. But he loved V, more than anything. She had her quirks, who didn’t? He laughed heartily at Amy’s comment to her horse. “Don’t worry, V won’t tolerate monkey business, ain’t that right darlin’?” V’s ears turned towards Luke’s words, and she raised her head in agreement. The day that V ran off with some stallion was the day pigs flew. Trust me, It was not likely to happen.
He acknowledged Amy’s leave with a light nod. For a moment, he contemplated whether she’d run off into the sunset and send him chasing after her, but he doubted it. That would be pretty fun though, not to mention romantic. Woah there, don’t get your head in the gutter, you guys are just friends. Yeah, uh-huh, alright. Still, Luke couldn’t help but… appreciate how cute Amy looked, rising from the water like that. In a friendly way, of course. “Sorry if V’s a distraction to ‘im, she’s usually real good, but I mean… kinda a seductress I ‘uppose.”He laughed, and dove under the water to wet his hair. He loved the water, popular to Amy’s beliefs. Surfacing, Luke rose just in time to get a face-full of Amy’s splash. He spit out the water in mock-anger, placing his hands on his hips, even though Amy couldn’t see him. Well, it was the thought that counted, right?
Oh, and she was going to challenge him? Luke loved a good challenge, especially when the prize was good. This token just happened to be worth his while. Smirking, he gave Amy a little head start as he lowered himself underwater. He couldn’t see much when he opened his eyes, but by the receding trail of bubbles, he could tell which way she was heading. Taking a wide arc, he followed her silently, like a shark. He wasn’t the quickest swimmer, but he had good technique. He’d pursue her, mostly underwater, until she couldn’t figure out where he was. Then, when she paused to look for him, he’d make his move. Luke didn’t really know what ‘the move’ would be yet, but he had a few ideas. Now, just for the right time…

...Amy Cameron... …I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain…
Amy giggled when he spoke of V as not taking lightly on any monkey business. ”You hear that boy? No chance on you, sorry.”
The stallion’s ears seemed to flat out almost disappointed, but she noticed that the more V stood there ignoring him, the more he called. A, what a love struck horse he had become. Even so she was glad that nothing would happen, she didn’t want to send a sudden present back to the ranch of a breeding fee or anything. But from a breeders point of view the foal would probably become a grand prize. But that was just Amy, when she first started day dreaming of foals she could almost see the whole anatomy. She knew the whole pedigree of Eragon. He was an imported Norwegian Hanoverian, in fact his mother had been imported when she was a few weeks pregnant, and that had been for safety reasons. The mare’s owner had bought Eragon when he was born and had gotten a great potential out of the horse, now the stallion was in her care and they were going up, slowly, but they were raising stars. In her eyes. She listened to his excuse, or what it was supposed to be before walking to her horse, she had to smile sweetly as he spoke and shook her head. ”Oh, it’s no big deal, really. He can handle it, right boy? And besides, I haven’t seen him so up and goin’ since I go’ him two years ago.” The horse snorted and as Amy started swimming a little further she heard the horse neigh after her, ears perked up forth wondering where his owner went. She went up for breathe after the head start and threw a glance behind her shoulder, eyebrow went up. Had he gone under? Amy dove deeply down, opening her eyes she could see everything a little blurry but good enough to search for anything at all. Finding no hiding spots and soon enough no air the teen went straight up pulling air again, maybe he had given up? Eyes wandered but she didn’t see him this time either. She started to grow anxious, had he hit himself? The female turned a couple of rounds before diving again trying to search for him. Oh my god! She hadn’t killed him or anything? No, her sense caught her. He was probably playing with her, he was a good swimmer, right? Sixteen year old swam deep and found a small opening but it was too small for her so she kicked one last time from the ground and got up easily. Inhaling oxygen the female turned around before shouting. Ok, so she got easily anxious, nothing to worry about. Right? Right? ”Luke!? Are you ok!? Luke?!” She wasn’t going to cry, no, but she was however turning around almost like a maniac wondering where her err…friend had gone to. Because they were friends, or? Luke swam easily, trying to keep his momentum up and his trail down. It was hard enough only coming up for air for a few seconds, lest Amy saw him, but this was a game, and Luke was determined to win. He watched as she ducked under, and took his chance to come up for a nice full breath of air. He pointed his gaze back towards the shore to check on V. She seemed fine, but poor Eragon! All roped up like that, he had no chance of hitting it off with V. Even if she did close in on him a little more, she wouldn’t allow him to take advantage of her. No sir-ee, V was quite the prude. Luke laughed quietly, and dove down again, figuring he had killed enough time above the surface. He swam quickly, following her path. He needed to catch up with her since her head start put him behind. He’d decided what he was going to do, but he needed to be close enough to do it.
When she called his name, he made his move. Was she really that concerned about him? His heart rose a little. That was sweet, although he probably shouldn’t talk so soon, since she’d probably kill him after he played his little trick. No matter. Silently, Luke rose for a gulp of air before diving down again. He could see just a little in front of him, so he knew when he was nearing Amy. Well, her legs rather. When he reached her legs, he’d make a point of brushing past her ankles noticeably before high-tailing it in a round-about circle around her. She’d – hopefully, if his plan succeeded – be looking under the water, when Luke would be coming around back, ready to surprise her.
Oh, and she shouldn’t be worried about drowning, Luke was a certified lifeguard. Add that to the list of things you probably didn’t know about him. Luke had a lot of those. Sweeping around, Luke managed to squeeze out enough breath to make it to her backside. He rose as quietly as he could, but it shouldn’t matter that much since she was busy calling his name. On the count of three, Luke would jump up, put his hands on her shoulders, and cry, “Boo!” Not loud enough to scar her eardrums, but loud enough. Grinning from ear to ear, he shook out his hair again. “Now I’ve caught you, are you gonna tell me what you think my type is? Please?” He made his best puppy dog face. It probably wasn’t enough though, for he had a feeling Amy would be upset with him. Hopefully not too upset.

...Amy Cameron... …I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain…
Of course, everyone should feel sorry for poor fella Eragon. The stallion nipped at the rope frustrated of being roped up but soon gave up that match, he wasn’t winning on it. Seeing V still standing from afar teasing him the stallion snorted out an irritated and frustrated snort and gave up the whole match. Instead he did the same as the mare, ignored her and started lipping the grass while flicking ears to listen to the commotion in the water. What commotion right? Well, seeing as Amy was running around as she felt someone brush her legs, the female shivered and started looking down, nothing, but she couldn’t even get to take a turn before a couple of hands was on her shoulder and a deep voice said. ”boo!” Little did Mister Peterson know that when you say boo to Amy, she’ll scream. She’d done it before, and she did it again. With her heart in the throat the female shrieked and flinched away, she wasn’t just surprised, but no one had scared her like that since she was nine. Seven years ago, a long time.
However, listening further to the voice she noticed that it was Luke, eyes grew from frightened to embarrassed, a soft shade of crimson running from her neck to her cheeks and she ducked down. Amy stayed there until she felt her color cool down and could go back to being upset. She swam closer to the male, this time a soft smile was shunned on her lips with a hint of seduction, and she lowered her eyes lightly giving puppy eyes and trod water. ”Well, of course I will tell you. Just one more thing.”
The teen drew even more closer, her face up close letting her eyes take in his, lips not far from his as she put her hands upon his shoulder. Of course, this was nothing but a scene, want to know why? Because as soon as she felt his skin underneath her fingers the female gave a grin, pulled her head over his without ramming into him, which only made her full body lean over his shoulder. What happened? A big splash as the female went over the male hoping he went underneath her weight. She came up for more air and looked at him, her eyes had turned back to being upset again. ”You scared the livin’ daylights out of me! And an answer to your type is one, flirtatious.” The female smiled gently but she was still upset, of course she was. You couldn’t really blame her as she cared for him, as a friend yes. Nothing more, or? Well, not to get anyone’s hopes up, but then again. She has never gotten that scared before, yet the past is still hidden from everyone right? She has not said anything about a certain fellow that is at this Academy that actually knows her since they were children. Is it a girl? No, then a boy? Yes. But now Mister Peterson, do you think you can warm her up again? She probably needs it, or what do you answer? Tagged ;; Luke [/blockquote]

Luke felt accomplished that he’d scared her, but immediately after he saw her reaction he felt remorse. Dang, Luke, can’t you remember? Amy isn’t one of your guy friends, and when you’re trying to impress a girl, or, hm, get her to like you? Then generally you don’t scare her. Well, at least she seemed okay with it, and by the way she was getting so close to him, he kind of figured she’d liked it. Maybe she enjoyed being scared. He felt goosebumps give way to his skin as she touched his shoulders, nearing his face with her own. Luke resisted the urge to lean forward – they were friends… just, regrettably, friends. But the moment didn’t last long, Amy had a trick up her sleeve.
Let’s just put it this way, the last thing Luke remembered was Amy’s smile before he felt himself go under.
If there was one thing Luke hated, it was being submerged against his will. His friends used to mess around, dunking each other and what not, but Luke had never really been the type. When he was a little kid, timid and afraid of most everything, he’d gone to the pool one summer with his dad. Facing his fear, he’d bravely jumped in, only to land in the middle of a hoard of older boys, all engaged in a fierce water battle. Luke had managed to fight his way out, although he’d gotten dunked plenty a time. Ever wonder why he’d become a lifeguard? To save people from the same experience he’d had. It was funny what moments stuck with you. He felt water fill his nostrils and drip into his throat most unpleasantly. He felt like doing nothing else but thrashing, but he’d be a big boy around Amy. Well, if she forgave him. Rising up out of the water, spluttering, he took a look at Amy’s face and instantly regretted his little trick. He hadn’t meant to scare her that bad. Realizing how selfish he was, Luke pinched himself beneath the water. “I’m sorry, Amy, I didn’t mean to scare ya… well, that’s a lie, but not that bad. I regret it now.” Slowly, Luke swam over towards her and held out his hand, flashing her a weak smile. “I promise that I’ll nev’r scare you again. Friends?” He tried his best to appeal to her, but he’d understand if she was sick of him and his antics. After all, he was quite the flirt.

...Amy Cameron... …I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain…
She had noticed that he regretted it, but Amy loved to get back on people, she loved it mostly when they were in the water. Did she care about people’s fear? Sometimes, if they had told her. If they hadn’t then it was their bad, but she had always been careful giving them just a light fright seeing as she was quite light weight. She gasped some air softly when she went up and looked back at Luke. Her eyes that had been upset calmed down and softened; she didn’t take it to heart. Sure she understood that guys loved to try and scare each other, really she knew, but oh well. What’s done is done, right? She looked at the positive side, no one was hurt, and she had almost been…wait, what? Had she just imagining it or had it seemed like Luke had leaned a little forward? No, she must’ve imagining it, right? It was no way, they were friends? Her heart jumped lightly when she heard his voice, when did she feel so self conscious? Just now? No, of course, she’s kidding, or? Teen listened to the rather helpless and regretting words of the male, it was cute, the way he tried to break things up and make up. She liked it.
”It’s ok Luke, really it is. I’m not used to it, that’s all.”
Her eyes softened and watched him as he came close. Well that was weird, why did she suddenly get this urge to sweep into his arms and hug him? This weren’t normal, had she been bitten or anything? She saw his hand but made a turnaround herself to see if there had been any biting marks, none? Then why was she thinking and feeling so many weird things? She brushed it off mentally and took the Luke’s hand, looking a little closely her slender fingers looked a little fragile in his hands, but what females’ hands’ doesn’t? She smiled at him and listened to his words, really, she couldn’t stay mad at him when he says it like that. But she knew that he couldn’t make that promise, no guy could. Why? Because they loved it when a girl got scared and ran into their open arms, am I not right? ”That promise is one you can’t hold mister. But I’m not mad, so yeah, friends.” She felt a little disappointed by his word “friend.” But she couldn’t really understand why. She hadn’t felt it like this before, was she starting to like him? Probably, but the time had gone by fast, it was probably noon by now, or something. ”By the way Luke, have you been a lifeguard or something?” Her gaze turned from the two horses and back to the male. She just checked to see if Eragon was behaving, and he was frighteningly calm. Maybe he was up to some sort of game again? If she knew that horse right he probably was Eragon had this side of him, which was a player and tease. He could fool Amy if he wanted, if he wanted attention or anything good, he knew the tricks. He wasn’t stupid, an almost annoying fact. Her blue eyes however was caught by the presence of Luke, she didn’t know why but she felt comfortable in his presence and somehow, her hand didn’t want to let go of his, even if her mind wanted to. Luke was glad when she took his hand. He hadn’t thought that she would ignore his settlement, but that sure would have been awkward if she’d left him hanging like that. Slowly he shook, silently admitting to himself that he’d like to continue shaking for a while. Her skin was so smooth, whereas his hands just happened to be rough and calloused. Suddenly, he became self-conscious. What was she thinking? Did she want to withdraw her grasp because of his tough man-hands? Settle down, Luke, and enjoy the moment. Oh, he was enjoying it alright, although it must have looked quite silly to anyone passing by. A couple – oh man, did they look like a couple? – shaking hands in the middle of the lake. He tried not to worry too much about it now, when he was feeling quite happy. In fact, he had to resist the urge to kiss her hand. He normally would have, what was stopping him? Maybe the fact that she had pointed out exactly how flirtatious he was, that was it. Was it? Or could it be that niggling sensation in the back of his mind that kept telling him how pretty Amy looked, and how he should work on becoming more than friends. But, but, but… No more buts, mister!
Good thing Amy distracted him from his thoughts. He shook out of his mind, and smiled at her. “I won’t break my promise. If there’s one thing I ain’t, Miss Amy, that’s a liar. A promise is a promise, after all.” He winked again, and gathered the courage to lift her hand up to his lips, swiftly, of course. He was embarrassed now as it was. Breaking their hand-embrace, he dove under the water to escape her gaze. Was he just imagining things, or did he feel electricity run through his lips upon kissing her hand? Agh, this was way confusing. He surfaced a few feet away, only to catch her lifeguard comment. He paddled over to her, nodding silently. “Yeah, I was a lifeguard for a little while. Why, do I make you want savin’?” He grinned, brushing water from his eyes with his wet hand. A brilliant, counter-productive method, yeah? “I’ve had some cool jobs over the years. But what about you?” He was tired of talking for now, all the swimming exhausted it. Oh Luke, silly boy, I doubt it’s the swimming at all!

...Amy Cameron... …I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain…
The slip of how they seemed to both enjoy and terrify each company was something that could be felt. The urge of just letting go and run away was there, but it was a feeling that nagged her, like she shouldn’t run away, it would ruin the moment of truth, which truth? This whole ordeal really showered her with questions today, or was it just her? It was getting hotter, don’t you think? The female looked at him but smiled when she heard his words, she was getting tired of swimming as well, exhausted almost. It was about time to go up anyways, right? If they stayed too long they would probably get caught, but that wasn’t such a bad thing, was it? Ack! She was really getting confused or confusing herself, whichever fitted really. Sixteen year old looked at him while listening to the words that he spoke of, so he wasn’t a liar? Well that was good, she enjoyed being in the company of honest people, liars were a bad omen, in her weird little world at least. However, when his lips touched her hand she felt like diving under and so she did. For a second just to cool off was it so visible? Her emotions, or was it just her? It must be just her, right?
”That’s good to hear, I like people that are honest.”
She smiled softly at him and noticed that he dove, Amy got a little puzzled by it but had noticed several times that he had called her Miss. It was something she usually got annoyed at, or frustrated, whatever. She didn’t like it, but he couldn’t know anything of that, could he? ”And you can call me Ames, my friends does.” Amy spoke gently but listened to his words and splashed at him when he came with the flashy “feel like savin’” comment. He was such a flirt, but wasn’t she one as well? That was true, she had always been a soft flirt, but had it gone out of hand like this? Not really, not that she could remember, and that was something she would remember. Her memory was quite the fun thing, he remembered so many details, many people never noticed them, but she did. ”Oh, perhaps, why? Want to be savin’ me?” She shot the comment quite smoothly back, a soft smirk on her lips for a minute and suddenly she heard the question. What had she been doing? The question he asked her made the female turn around. Right now she kind of wished for it to be a dappled Percheron and Quarter mare mix, not the pure Hano stallion. But, she was not giving in, she was going to ride Capricornia sooner, rather than later. ”Cool jobs? Like a gigolo? And I’ve only worked at my grandfather’s ranch, but I worked with the horses, helping them through hard times, owners and injuries, Capricornia is one of them.” She eyed him carefully hoping that she wouldn’t offend him with the gigolo statement. But hopefully he would notice the joke and not take it to heart. He was a nice guy, a flirt but really nice and he had a passion for horses, she had noticed that quite easily. But a breeze ruined the moment and she shivered lightly. ”What do you think about getting ready to go back? I’m getting cold, not to sound like a snob, but I think the horses are growin’ bored as well.” She pointed at the pair, Eragon being the one to show it more, he was moving restlessly and nibbling at the tree, a bad habit but he had been standing and moving a little for a couple of hours, no wonder he was a little grumpy. Amy turned and looked back at Luke, eyes turned into a puppy shape wondering if he would resist it or not, then again, he could be one of those “macho” guys, or? [/blockquote]

Luke took a moment to look back and see how V was doing. She seemed to be pretty bored, although content enough just munching away. Luke couldn’t help but chuckle. She was pretty self-sustainable, unlike Luke who needed entertainment. Good thing that’s just what he was getting. Hanging out with Amy proved both nerve-wracking and fun. There was always the stress of his raging emotions, but also the fact that he was having a great time getting to know Amy more. It was a win-lose situation. For the millionth time that day, Luke shook out his hair. He really needed to see about getting it cut, but he couldn’t bear to do it. His hair was as much a part of him as his toes, or tongue – he just wasn’t Luke without it. But in the summer, it could be quite a nuisance. That reminded him, he should probably get around to clipping V… Too much to think about! Half-heartedly, he rolled his neck around, still managing to tread water. “Ames, huh? That’s cute. My friends… don’t really know what they call me, I ‘uppose you can make something up if y’like.” He grinned. Proposing a little challenge, eh? Yup, name the Luke, that’s the game alright.
Speaking of games, Luke was happy that Amy was flirting back. How? Oh, well her comment about him saving her, that seemed to be pretty flirtatious. And from the king of flirt, Luke tended to know one when he saw one. “Maybe, Honey, but I won’t let you go under for long enough to need it.” He winked again, and created a tiny whirlpool with his finger. His trunks suddenly felt very uncomfortable and soggy, and he craved to get out and dry off. Shoot! He’d forgotten a towel. Oh well, he didn’t take very long to dry off. Gladly, his attention was driven off meaningless things like that by Amy’s voice. That seemed to always to the trick, especially when she was funny. I mean, a gigolo? He laughed out loud, and pursed his lips in mock-seriousness. “You should leave that to me!” Sticking his arms out in front of him, he wiggled his butt, creating a ripple in the water. “But that’s real sweet, workin’ with horses. I hear we’re going to do something with the uh, club there, with foals. Maybe we can partner up.” He smiled. That would be real cool, even more time with Amy. He found he really liked her.
That’s probably why seeing her shiver made him upset. He frowned, and nodded. “’Course, I’d be happy to go back. I’m pretty tired from swimmin’ m’self.” He grinned then, and wheeled around in his place. Just in time to catch her puppy dog eyes, actually. He felt his heart melt a little, and had to resist the urge to hug her. So instead, maybe he’d offer her a ride? “Hey, if you want I’ll give you a piggy-back ride back to the shore?” He raised an eyebrow, and smiled suggestively. Hey, the idea sure sounded good to him!

...Amy Cameron... …I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain…
She had to giggle at his challenge. Oh, you had a done deal when it came to challenges and Amy. But she blushed lightly when he said that it was cute, no one had told her that before. She shook the warm feeling off trying to focus, tapping a finger cutely upon her soft lips she knew exactly what she was doing, letting the guy miss out on the lips. A usual hit off, right? Finding a couple the female suddenly burst out thinking of the Japanese expression “uke,” it was like in a couple, the uke was the girl, the thought made her giggle and she had to pressure it down so she wouldn’t make a complete fool out of herself, well, more then she has already done that is. ”Well, seeing as you are so fond of challenges, and you’ve got just four letters in your name I see two options. Either Lu, or Uke…and Uke is completely out of the question.”
She giggled again and looked at him wondering if he even had Japanese, well she certainly had and to be honest she loved it! Probably one of the few classes she was actually following completely in. But that was just Amy. If she thought about it, weren’t they having several classes together? Math, English, wow..They had a couple together, why hadn’t she noticed it? Well, she was sitting right back at the buss so no wonder then, she rarely noticed others being a light nerd, just a light one. Her head turned hearing the word Honey and once again, you could notice a light blush, he was really coming on to her. She liked it, it wasn’t that, but no one had ever flattered her, flirted yes, but not like this. Still, she smiled charmingly at him and spoke teasingly. ”Oh but darling, then you are my hero already, no?” Of course, she tried to sound serious but when he commented back on her gigolo, and did that move? Oh, Amy could’ve drowned already. She burst into laughter at his wiggling but could soon slow down to a giggle and nodded when he spoke of the horses. ”Oh? You’re in the TAEA club? Maybe we’re lucky, me and the owner don’t go along together, believe me. I hate her guts, maybe we’re lucky and she’ll say that you’re good influence on me. But yeah, I loved working with horses, I mean, I work with those two charmers but it’s not the same anymore. Time changes, people change.” She smiled with a light apology to it, it wasn’t that she missed it too much, but it also held pain, the pain of a loss, of a mother. But the topic smoothly changed when he seemed to grow a little sympathy on her, but she felt calmer when he said that he was growing tired himself. At least she wasn’t alone right? But Luke never stopped there, she blushed when he asked her if he could give her a ride. But she noticed the challenge and swam slowly to him. ”Why thank you, you sure you can handle that cowboy?” She grinned and kissed his cheek as a thank you before getting behind him as quickly as she could. Was it getting hotter again or was it just her? Yes, it defiantly was just her, she felt like she had to cool down again. Poor girl, but Amy gripped upon him, her slender fingers wrapped over his shoulders but she held it so he still had a good balance as well as he wouldn’t drown, she hoped at least, she wasn’t that heavy.
